VLife Sciences a company engaged in providing software solutions for research and development work in various fields like life sciences, chemical and biotechnology, has awarded scientists for their outstanding work in the field of research. All these scientists had used VLife’s software in their research work.

Dr. Abhinav Grover from Dept of Biotechnology, JNU, New Delhi and his team won the first prize while the second prize was bagged by Prof. Y. Jasrai and his team from Dept of Botany, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad . Third prize was jointly won by Dr Yogesh Pore and his group from Govt. College of Pharmacy, Karad and Dr. Sangshetti and his team from Y. B. Chavan College of Pharmacy. A cash prize was given to the awardees along with certificates and mementos. The award ceremony was held at Holiday Inn Hotel at Balewadi, Pune.
Prof. Shridhar Gadre Professor, Department of Chemistry IIT, Kanpur & Dr. V. K. Kansal President, R&D, Teva API India, were the chief guests for the function.

There were expert presentations by Prof. Alok Dhawan Director ILS Ahmedabad, Dr. Parven Luthra Vice President, API R&D, Watson Pharma, Dr. Dhananjay Sathe VP, Process R&D, Unichem Laboratories, Dr. V.K. Kansal, President, R&D, Teva API India.
